PLG does not rely on a formulaic, 10-step process. Human interaction is organic, and so is our methodology. With over 25 years’ of experience in Human Resources, Talent Acquisition and Talent Management, PLG has the knowledge and experience to help individual leaders continue to develop their leadership skills, teams to work more effectively together, and/or provide fractional HR consulting services. Our Leadership

Tim Johnson

Tim brings over 25 years of business experience with a laser focus on rapidly growing organizations, creating strong cultures, and leadership development programs. He thrives on working with executives and leaders at all levels to help develop an authentic leadership style that works both for the individual and the organization. 

In his most recent role as Vice President of Human Resources and Recruiting at Epic Games, he was responsible for leading a global team that architected all of the People/Talent Strategies and Facilities. Tim played a significant role in working with the executive leadership team to maintain a high performing and engaged culture during a period of hyper-growth. 

Tim has many years of experience helping technical leaders develop and maintain emotional intelligence. He has been instrumental in supporting organizational development and growing high performing teams. Tim is well nuanced in balancing the strategic, tactical, and people side of the business. These are skills that allow him to relate well with all levels within the organization.

Background:

Tim is a certified MBTI, DiSC, and Five Behaviors Facilitator who has his SHRM-SCP/SPHR certification, and has completed training in Authentic Leadership Coaching through the Raleigh Coaching Academy where he has also participated in facilitating the curriculum as contributing alumni. 

Tim is a Veteran of the US Navy who lives in Raleigh NC.  He enjoys cooking, eating great food, being outdoors, running, cycling, spending time with his two children, and keeping up with his active and outgoing Great Dane, Tuck.
